Camille Charbonneau
Born in a Mormon family on the unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation/Gatineau, Camille moved to Tiohtià:ke/Montréal in 2010. They graduated with distinction from Concordia University’s Painting & Drawing BFA program in 2020 with a specific focus on printmaking. They were admitted to the MFA of the same program, and awarded the Shirley Reed Graduate Scholarship and Tom Hopkins Memorial Graduate Awards. Charbonneau’s work has been exhibited at Concordia University’s FOFA Gallery, the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery (Montréal) as well as the Musée d’art contemporain des Laurentides (Saint-Jérôme), and appeared in publications such as La Presse (2022) and Vice MTL (2018).
